SEPTIC PUMPING:
Pump every 3-5 years
The need for pumping is to remove solids that build up over time. When solids reach 25-30% of your tanks 4ft liquid depth (the normal operating level) a pump is due. We measure solids as part of our initial system inspection to determine whether or not a pump is due. Part of the pumping process includes testing all of your systems key components such as cleaning the filter, testing the dose and checking the drainfield. We will provide a written report for your records. You can learn more about the need for pumping on the EPA website here.
SHORT TERM RENTAL LICENSE:
Pump every 3 years
Summit County Environmental Health requires Short Term Rental's to be pumped every 3 years in order to renew a license. Annual pumps are often needed as solids and debris tend to accumulate faster due to over-use and tenants not adhering to septic safe practices. It's better to maintain than replace your (very expensive) system.
SEPTIC INSPECTIONS:
Inspect every 1-3 years
It is important for the health and longevity of your septic system to have regular inspections. We are licensed to perform basic and advanced system inspections such as Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) Use Permit Inspections for real estate transactions or building permits. You can learn more about the need for inspecting septic systems on the EPA website here.
OPERATING PERMITS:
We partner with Alpine Water Services for the High Level Treatment (HLT) system inspections and O&M agreements required by Summit County Environmental Health. These are systems such as Advantex and BioMicrobics. You can learn about requirements on the Summit County Environmental Health website here.
SEPTIC TROUBLESHOOTING:
We have the tools, equipment and experience to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues. With inspection cameras (CCTV), sonar locators, jetting machines, descaling machines, snakes etc. our team will go above and beyond to get your system back online.
PRICING:
Septic inspections start at $175. The cost to pump is based on tank size, ease of lid access and pumping logistics. Tank sizes are generally 1,000-gallons, 1,250-gallons, 1,500-gallons and 2,000-gallons; some systems have a dosing chamber as well (siphon or effluent pump). If you don't know your system size, that's okay, we can find out.
OTHER SERVICES:
We do not design or install septic systems, there is a list of licensed service providers on the county website. And we do not provide or service portable toilets or recreational vehicles.

Kyle and Emma were great! We had someone throw a rock down out cleanout, which caused a sewer backup. He was able to get out there promptly to diagnose the issue and come up with a plan. There were a lot of unfortunate obstacles which escalated the costs, but Kyle and Emma were able to work with me to come up with a payment plan that worked for both parties. I hope I don't have any further clogged sewer issues, but if I do, they will be my first call!

Kyle is knowledgeable and professional. I recently had a "overflowing" septic tank. He came to my house immediately, evaluated the situation , took care of the issue, and gave recommendations. Honest and easy to work with. A & A is AAA!
They were able to accommodate our tight timeline for septic pumping/inspection and provided courteous, competent service at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend them.
